After being seen kissing on a cosy date night, Dua Lipa sparks dating rumours with Trevor Noah.
After being seen ‘kissing’ in New York City, Dua Lipa and Trevor Noah have ignited dating rumours.
The Daily Mail received images of the 27-year-old hitmaker and the comedian, 38, having an intimate supper at Miss Lily’s, a Jamaican restaurant in the East Village, on Wednesday night (September 28).
“They were quietly sat aside from everyone else at the restaurant,” a source told the magazine. They were clearly in love and sat close together during the meal.”
According to the eyewitness, the couple “left together and strolled, stopping for extended embraces and on the second kiss with hugs.”
Lipa and Noah were photographed sitting next to one other inside the restaurant before heading for a post-dinner stroll.
They were also seen walking closely together, talking, and hugging, with the Daily Show host appearing to kiss Lipa on the cheek.
The Don’t Start Now singer wore a black leather jacket with loose blue denim and leopard-print heels, while Noah wore a khaki-colored cargo jacket with a black T-shirt and trousers.
The Evening Standard has reached out to Dua Lipa and Trevor Noah’s representatives for comment.
Dua Lipa previously dated Gigi and Bella Hadid’s younger brother, Anwar Hadid, who is also a model.
After more than two years of dating, the two first split in December 2021, before briefly rekindling their romance and then splitting for good.
Meanwhile, Noah previously dated Minka Kelly, 42, for two years before splitting earlier this summer.
Us Weekly confirmed their divorce in May, citing a source who stated that they “had been broken up for a while” and that “there is no ill will and everything is cordial between them.”
Noah is incredibly discreet about his personal life, however he did tell People Now about his flirting technique in 2017.
He told them at the time: “When I meet a woman, I’m still the kid in high school — I’m still like, ‘Hi, my name is Trevor.’ Never open with a joke. It is the most horrible thing.
“Jokes require context. Without context, you’re just some random person who came and told someone they fell from [Heaven] or some randomness, and if you mess it up, you look worse and it seems like an insult. No humour! Just say hello. That’s it!”
The insider added: “They left together and walked, stopping for long embraces and on the second kiss with hugs.”
The TV host is the first person Dua has been romantically linked to after her two-year relationship with Anwar Hadid ended.
It was reported in December 2021 that Dua and Anwar had called it quits because of the distance.
The ‘Levitating’ vocalist and Gigi and Bella Hadid’s brother started dating in 2019 and even lived together during the lockdown.
Meanwhile, Trevor was most recently linked to ex-girlfriend actress Minka Kelly, whom he began dating in 2020 before calling it quits in May of this year.
Dua and Trevor have yet to respond to the dating rumours.
