On December 4, 2022, the YouTube Streamy Awards 2022 were held at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. The annual award ceremony honours the top individuals in online content creation in areas such as director, acting, producing, and writing.
For the second year in a row, Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, was named best creative of the year at this year’s award ceremony. MrBeast also got the top creator award in 2021. The main channel he owns under the name ‘MrBeast‘ is the fourth most subscribed channel on YouTube and the most subscribed channel owned by an individual.
The award ceremony brought together some of the world’s most popular YouTubers. Eric Decker, better known to his fans as Airrack, presented the event. Eric Decker is a very popular YouTube producer. The rapper Yung Gravy also performed during the evening.
At the event, various awards in various categories were given out, with the creator of the year being one of the most notable and prestigious. Many other YouTubers, including Addison Rae, Airrack, Charli D’Amelio, Blogilates, JiDion, Logan Paul, Mark Rober, and MrBallen, were nominated for the awards, but MrBreast won for the second time.
