Here's a closer look at the partnership between OpenAl's ChatGPT and Microsoft

In 2019, Microsoft invested $1 billion in OpenAl, the company that designed ChatGPT.

Soon after, the company became the preferred partner for commercializing' OpenAl's technologies.

OpenAl also officially licensed its technologies to Microsoft, which allowed the company to add them to their products and services.

Since then, Microsoft has poured in another $2 billion. All the money was reportedly invested in the computing power required to develop the chatbot.

According to recent reports, it looks like the Redmond- based tech giant will invest another $10 billion in the near future.
