Tenacious D announces European tour in 2023

Tenacious D will close out their 2023 European summer tour with a headline date at The O2 in London.

Rockers have announced eight tour dates.

Tenacious D, comprised comedians Jack Black and Kyle Gass, will return to Europe in summer 2023 for an eight-show run. The tour begins on June 6th in Hamburg, Germany, and includes stops in Berlin, Nickelsdorf, Austria, Milan, Italy, Zurich, Switzerland, Brussels, Belgium, and Rotterdam, Netherlands before concluding on June 16th with a headlining event at London’s O2 Arena.

Tickets go on general sale Friday, 4th at 10 am via Ticketmaster.

Tenacious D has had a busy few months, including the release of a medley of songs from The Who’s rock musical, Tommy, in support of Everytown For Gun Safety, as well as the launch of their own fibre bars in the US, Fibre D’Lish, and doing what they love best, touring for a string of sold out US dates.

They finish the year with two gigs at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on December 30th and 31st.

Tenacious D had an HBO variety show in 1999, and they went on to release their Platinum self-titled album in the fall of 2001. Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny, their first feature picture together, was released in November 2006 to great acclaim by New Line Cinema, followed by the album Rize of the Fenix in 2012, which garnered a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album.

Event Supreme, a music and comedy festival in Los Angeles, CA, was conceived and hosted by Black and Gass in 2013. Festival Supreme’s first four years featured acts including Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, Flight of the Conchords, “Weird Al” Yankovic, Patton Oswalt, Eric Andre, Amy Poehler, Workaholics, and many more.

They received a Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 2014 for their performance of Ronnie James Dio’s “The Last In Line.” On November 2, 2018, Tenacious D released Tenacious D in Post-Apocalypto, an animated film hand-drawn by Black and voiced by Black and Gass. Along with the film, the band released the album Post-Apocalypto.

Tenacious D’s Biography

Tenacious D will continue to promote the gospel of rock n roll around the world in 2022 and beyond, cementing their place as one of the world’s finest rock bands.
