If you’re anxiously awaiting the official release of Grand Theft Auto 6, a few snippets are available online. GTA fans have been anticipating the upcoming instalment with bated breath. GTA 5 was launched in 2013 about a decade ago.

After a long wait, fans now have a sneak peek at the upcoming instalment of the game. The breach has been attributed to GTAForum member “teapotuberhacker.” A total of 90 videos of the new gameplay have been leaked. The released videos are currently a treat for all enthusiasts.

The movies, however, are unfinished, and some textures are missing. There are also a few half-baked characters.

The released information: The footage reveals prospective narratives and tone.

A few minor features in the leaked films, such as the police department’s licence plate or the mention of “Vice City Metro Train,” reveal that the game is set in Vice City in the current edition. In addition to the 90 videos, a few screenshots have been shared.

According to the leaks, there will be a female protagonist, Lucia, as well as a male role.

Lucia is seen stealing a store in one of the films, which features complicated gaming movements, gunplay, and NPC speech.

What happened next: Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar Games’ parent company, has ordered that the films that went viral on YouTube and other social media sites be removed.

The game’s official release date has yet to be confirmed. The leaked videos have now been shared numerous times.

People are reacting positively to the leaked films and the new style.

According to Tech Crunch, the data trove found by PCGamer via a GTAForums post by the suspected hacker themselves has 90 videos of game clips, with debug code and interfaces running and supporting the veracity of the claims.

The hacker, who goes by the handle ‘teapotuberhacker’ on GTAForums, claims to have obtained the video by obtaining access to a Rockstar employee’s Slack account.

These leaks appear to be genuine or fakes made with such attention to detail and authenticity that they have won over an initially sceptical GTAForums member audience.

Several footage from the leak show both male and female protagonist characters, which fits with recent speculations about what to expect in the next game.

They also demonstrate gameplay in a Miami-analog fake metropolis, which confirms previous reports about what ‘GTA 6’ will bring to the franchise. It’s worth mentioning that these films most likely depict an older model, possibly from around 2017, according to Tech Crunch.

According to Tech Crunch, early this month, Rockstar rolled the credits from ‘GTA 5’ and ‘GTA 5 Online’ on its website, naming the page ‘Thank You,’ which many saw as an indication that active production on the title was coming to an end.

A ‘nightmare’ for Rockstar is leaked in GTA 6.

Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier came to Twitter to confirm, via Rockstar sources, that the GTA 6 leaks are “in fact authentic.” He stated that the material is preliminary and unpolished, and that the leaks might be a “nightmare” for the company.

Schreier described why he thought this was a nightmarish scenario. He predicted that the disclosures would interrupt work “for a while.” He also suggested that management might limit work-from-home flexibility as a result of this.

It should be noted that Rockstar hasn’t offered any official response to the GTA 6 leaks so far.
