The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro will have a number feature differences check them out

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro series will be distinguished from the iPhone 14 series by a number of significant characteristics and features. Here’s a glance at the predicted adjustments.Apple’s iPhone 14 unveiling event is just six days away, on September 7. Apple will hold the iPhone 14 launch event in person, but a livestream of the event will be available for everyone to watch.

The event will centre on the new iPhones, the impending Apple Watch Series 8, which will have a Pro version, the new AirPods Pro (maybe), and possibly a new iPad lineup (unlikely). But all eyes will be on the iPhone 14 series, which has a few modifications this time around. Let’s have a look at what these could be.

Apple iPhone 14 might not get a processor upgrade

Apple has made a huge decision. According to most sources, the Apple iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will retain the same A15 Bionic chip, albeit it may be clocked quicker. The new A16 Bionic processor could be reserved for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max series, putting the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 on par in terms of performance. Apple has traditionally used the same chip across the Pro and ordinary series, and the iPhone 14 may signal a departure from this policy.

Of course, the Pro series has always included features that the standard variant did not have, but this could be the first time that the processor is different. Again, we will have to wait and see if Apple actually takes this approach for 2022.

The notch is going, but… not entirely

The notch on Apple’s iPhone series has long been a source of contention. While most iPhone customers have come to terms with the notch, it appears that it will be eliminated on the iPhone 14 Pro series. The front camera and all of the other sensors that Face ID generally requires are expected to be housed in a smaller cutout in the display on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

However, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are expected to keep the broad and noticeable notch that we’ve seen so far. According to a fresh MacRumors story, the new i-shaped notch will have two cutouts on the display, but these will look as one when the display is turned on. To achieve this look on the iPhone 14 Pro series, Apple will most likely rely on software.

A 48MP camera is on the way, however…

The iPhone 14 series appears to widen the gap between the Pro and non-Pro lineups. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the iPhone 14 Pro series will have a 48MP main camera this time. Ming Chi-Kuo, a well-known Apple analyst, has also stated the same thing. The main wide-angle camera on the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max is likely to be 48MP, while the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max will retain the 12MP main camera. Apple is also likely to update the iPhone 14 Pro series’ ultra-wide camera.

Apple iPhone 14 Max is now available, whereas the’mini’ is no longer available.

The iPhone 14 lineup is expected to look a little different this year. In addition, Apple is providing two ‘Max’ settings. This time, there will be no iPhone 14 small, and while some fans are understandably disappointed, Apple is adopting a new approach. While the iPhone 14 remains at 6.1 inches—still a relatively small smartphone when compared to most other phones on the market—Apple is likely to introduce the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max this year.

The iPhone 14 Max is expected to be a large-screen phone without the premium price tag that the Pro Max is known for. Also, the iPhone 14 Max is unlikely to feature a Pro 120 Hz display. So if you’ve wanted a bigger iPhone, but were not keen on paying that high price of the Pro, the iPhone 14 Max could well be the answer.
