Adam Levine of Maroon 5 has been accused of cheating on his wife Behati Prinsloo.
More than a week after it was revealed that the couple is expecting their third child together, a lady called Sumner Stroh spilled the beans on TikTok about her claimed affair with the pop star.
“I was having an affair with a man who’s married to a Victoria’s Secret model,” Stroh stated in a TikTok video.
She claimed, “At the time I was young, I was naive. And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now. So I was definitely very easily manipulated.”
The Instagram model shared an alleged direct message from Levine in which he asked if it was acceptable if he named his unborn child after her.
“Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s a boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious,” read the message, with a shrugging emoji.
After reading his message, Stroh said she feels “like I have to be in hell at this point. My morals were unknowingly being compromised.”
She said she “never wanted to come forward,” knowing “the implications that come with doing what I do, making money the way I do, and being an Instagram model,” and the “stereotypes” associated with being an influencer.
As to why she came forward with it now, she said she “sent some screenshots recklessly to a few friends I thought I trusted, and one of them had attempted to sell to a tabloid — so here I am.”
Stroh posted a statement on her Instagram story.
“Aware many people will try to fill in the gaps with many false assumptions,” she wrote after posting the TikTok.
“I don’t feel like I’m doing any favors, considering the manner this had to go about. It’s a lot to digest but hopefully, at the very least, the truth being out can do some good.”
Levine has not replied to the woman’s allegation of an affair. After dating for two years, he and Behati married on July 19, 2014.
Their first child, Dusty Rose, was born on September 21, 2016, and their second child, Gio Grace, was born on February 15, 2018.
After it was alleged that Levine cheated on his wife, supermodel Behati Prinsloo, his former yoga teacher Alanna Zabel also claimed that he sent her unwarranted messages and treated her poorly. Zabel was the fourth woman to level such allegations against the singer, reported Page Six. She also said that it led to an altercation with her ex partner.
Although at first she implied that she wanted to “expose” him, she came to his defence later on. “Firstly, Adam’s text was not wrong, IMO,” she wrote, sharing a video of her and Levine practising yoga together. “Secondly, Adam was not responsible for my abusive ex boyfriend, or his actions,” she added.
